The ultras scene of FC Zürich is centered in the Südkurve of the Stadion Letzigrund, one of the most well known ultra stands in Swiss football. The Südkurve is famous for its intense atmosphere, large choreographies, and constant vocal support. Several groups exist within this stand, but two of the most prominent are Ultras Zürich and Boys Zürich.
Ultras Zürich are one of the most visible groups in the Südkurve and represent the modern ultra movement of the club. The group is known for organizing large tifos, coordinated chants, flags, and pyrotechnic displays that create a strong visual identity during matches. Their support follows the traditional ultra mentality with strong loyalty to the club, independence from club management, and active presence both at home and away games across Switzerland and Europe.
Boys Zürich is one of the older and most historically significant supporter groups of FC Zürich. Founded in 1978, the group played an important role in establishing the early ultra and hooligan culture around the club. Over the decades, Boys Zürich became a central part of the Südkurve identity and helped shape the strong reputation of FC Zürich supporters within Swiss football.
Together with other smaller groups, Ultras Zürich and Boys Zürich form the core of the Südkurve culture.
