Commando Viola Ultra Curva Sud (now Peluza Sud Timișoara) is widely known as one of the first ultras movements in Romania, starting in August 1995. Since then, the ultras stood by the club, even if it went through difficult times (such as the 2000 split with Zambon and the 2011 relegation from the second place in the 1st league and the 2012 bankruptcy). Since 2012, the ultras started their own club, opposed to the “ACS Poli” club supported by the mayor of the city, a club moved from a village near Timisoara, which went bankrupt about 5 years ago. Nowadays, the local authorities support the ultras project, investing money, building a new stadium for the team and hoping for a promotion from the third league to the first in the next two years.
